Writing Center Workshops
The Writing Center offers students the opportunity to attend workshops, which are held approximately twice a month, throughout the fall and winter semesters. Student workshops are typically held Tuesday or Thursday during “dead hour.”

All workshops take place in the CHASS conference room (103 Briggs) and last about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Â鶹APP who are interested in attending should reserve their space in a workshop

University of Detroit Mercy faculty are invited to . Workshops are an excellent way to introduce students to specialized topics in writing and give students a chance to practice.
Workshops are taught by a writing consultant with topic-specific training, and can be held in your classroom or Briggs 129.
